Do you notice that the overall download time is longer or just that you notice the chart takes longer to update during the download. The chart will take longer to update during the download because the data is now written in large blocks. So you will notice a lot of bars appear, a pause and then more bars will appear. This is also another performance improvement because it minimizes the number of study calculations. It is also possible that because of the writing of large blocks of data, that the operating system may take a little longer with data compression. All of this is adjustable by us. It is designed to be faster especially if filesystem I/O is not very good on a system. But if there is an adverse performance impact, we can make some adjustments. This is no problem.
