it seems that a new SC (sub)instance (launched with the New Instance menu command and hence running on the same machine), which then becomes a DTC Client of the main/initial SC instance, receives only a fixed, limited number of market depth levels ie the standard 10 and not the new extended market depth the data source is the SC data and the test symbol was GC
