Kiwi, That's not the point of this request. It is common these days for apps to have menu item to check current version of the app and execute upgrade if user chooses to do so. What you offer might work, but it not a solution, it is work around. We know that Sierra can run some checks before starting the app. One of the common ones is to check your account balance and remind you if it is low. So, why not to add similar check to compare installed version versus latest official release? Thanks |
