First thing is to make sure the Input Setting for the Spreadsheet Study for Draw Zero Values is set to No. The most likely thing that is happening is that there are some zero values in the particular subgraph you are wanting to display and this is what is causing the graph to contract. You will find the documentation for this Input setting here:
Spreadsheet Study Inputs: Draw Zero Values

If that does not solve it, then you need to look at the values of that Subgraph and see where there are values out of range and see if there is a way to prevent those values from occurring. Or you can set the Spreadsheet to a scale of Independent, which would not contract the main Price Graph.

Otherwise, if there are other Subgraphs that you want displayed relative to the main graph, then you would have to create a separate Spreadsheet Study for that particular Subgraph and then set that study to a scale of Independent.

You will find the documentation for the Independent Scaling here:
Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Scale Range (Scale Settings)
