I have a funded futures account with TradeStation, which is not a supported broker of SC. I’m on a free trial activated directly through SC. This morning I funded my account with $50, and paid for (I thought) a $36 fee to the CME for one month of data. Then, attempting to activate live data I was always taken back to “Trading Services”. Part of my confusion may stem from working through the activation page, wherein it asks where you funded brokerage account is and one of the choices is “other”, to which I input TS with no difficulty. Another possible point of confusion on my part is that I used to have CQG charts with data from IQFeed and my existing TS account was sufficient. Am I correct is assuming SC can provide, for a fee, real-time data and is not reliant on that feed coming through a supported broker? [Reference first paragraph of SC Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed>>Introduction] My question is to receive real time data for a trial account on SC, is it necessary to have a (second) funded futures account with a SC supported broker? If so, how do I proceed to activate a live feed?
