for anyone else wondering how 'grid on dom only' is done:



chart > graphic settings >> change 'Chart Background' & 'Chart Grid' to same color (i.e. black)
chart > graphic settings >> enable & change 'Chart DOM Ask Background' and 'Chart DOM Bid Background' to same color (i.e. gray)
trade > chart dom settings - global > [check] extend chart horizontal grid onto chart dom
