I'm also curious whether Dow Jones Commodity Index - Crude Oil could be added into the real-time index collection, I knew there is one index for gas oil from the same dow jones index family already available on Sierra Chart Real-Time Data Feed, $DESN, it's gas oil so it's highly related to crude oil, but it's quite not there yet, and the uptick/downtick volume data is messed up, that is the most crucial information I'm looking for, without it there's no need to use market index specifically, just monitor the futures itself is alright. My purpose of using an index to monitor the market is so it's handy to have one single chart for all the data, managing futures data is quite a hassle, it's massive in size, has multiple data because it's contracted/separated in months, it's too big to load so changing chart time is a hassle, and the usage of continuous rollover chart is a hard choice, I want to see up/downtick volume and trades data from individual contract but still want to have a single master chart, then how does continuous futures chart handle tick/trades data from each individual contract? How can I get all the information so I can see the direction where the institution/professional would go? Do I need to set up multiple charts and use combine/sum study to combine up/downtick data from each chart every time? It's quite a procedural. It's an example of tick/trades data in practical use, isn't that beautiful? I'm so glad that I found out Sierra Chart and decided to subscribe to the service, these data tell me all the reversal and whether the breakout is true or fake base on the real data, which is base on real market transaction, real money. |
