What I mean by market data is the ability to provide tick/trades/volume data, which is the ability to provide valid data to cumulative delta bar study. The index that records tick/trades/volume data is the index I'm looking for. I'm looking for a definite overlord index that records the comprehensive market activities for measuring purpose. It's like I won't rely solely on SPY, E-Mini S&P Futures for the real market activities, I will look for activities from NYSE/NASDAQ, the actual exchange center. $DSEN is the only one for now that I found has a meh trades data, totally messed-up tick data, but somewhat decent volume data, all the gas & oil index, oil equip, oil drill, oil producer, S&P GSCI crude oil index, all of that, they have no valid tick/trades/volume data, GSCI one only started to record these in recent days. |
