Actually this is a clear indication that something is not right on your system:
CPU usage would suddenly spike to 99%,

Either you have a single core system, or other programs including drivers on your system are being affected by the data feed and causing increasing CPU usage on your system or within the Sierra Chart process.

AMP confirmed with CQG that there were no disconnects in their servers at the time.
For the record this is not believable. No such claim can be true. There are disconnections all the time for different reasons. But anyway this is really beside the point because we do think this is an issue on your system if your CPU usage is actually going to 99% within the Sierra Chart process or in total on your system. This is not normal even with an increasing market data rate.
