I installed Trader Workstation standalone version: TWS 936.9 ( Apr 9 2013 ) http://individuals.interactivebrokers.com/en/?f=%2Fen%2Fsoftware%2FinstallationInstructions.php on the new computer, and the market depth problem disappeared. Unfortunately, I do not subscribe to the NYBOT data feed from Interactive Brokers, and hence cannot open a TradeDOM for TF futures. For Sierra Chart, the software version is 961.
