I received this error today when trying to flatten a position. My automated flatten order didn't get processed (that's possibly something with my code that I'm trying to work out) so I had to manually close the position. I tried to flatten via the Positions tab of the Orders and Position window, but got the Error with Price Conversion error message in the Trade Activity Log. I was able to close through IB instead, but now I see another issue - the quantity under Positions tab shows 0 (which is correct) but the Open Quantity under the Trade States for Charts tab still shows 10. The chart also shows a "position" line, so it still thinks I have an open position. This chart is used for options, so I have the "Use Order Fill Calculated Position" turned to on. I'm assuming this has something to do with it. If you have any advice on how to remedy these errors, please let me know.
