Your analysis is correct, the reason that was not seen by the Pattern Finder, is because the Open of the current bar is equal to the Last of the prior bar. For this pattern to be valid, the Open of the current bar must be less than (not equal to) the Last of the prior bar. The workaround for this would be to modify the source code to include the equals option.
