which study do I use that counts the total number of ticks in a candle (adds all the up ticks + add all the downticks (as if they were upticks) to get to the number of total ticks. ie., 10 upticks and 10 downticks will equal 20 ticks total another way to state is: 10 up trades and 10 down trades still equal 20 trades total in both cases the candle would be a small line
