Chart Data and Chart Data Files: The Meaning of the [M] Designation after a Symbol



When using a sub instance of Sierra Chart through File >> New Instance, all data originates from the main instance of Sierra Chart. So in no case will you see the [M] indicator on the chart after the symbol. This is completely normal. It is just enough that you see it in the main instance of Sierra Chart for the symbol.
