Yes the proper implementation is curved lines on a logarithmic scale because they are drawn at each chart bar to the true corresponding value.

The price data, study data and chart drawings are all linear in their data and those linear values are mapped into a logarithmic scale which will cause a curved appearance. This is a consistent and standardized way that Sierra Chart handles logarithmic scaling.

If either a straight ray drawing on a logarithmic scale or a curved line does not meet your requirements, not sure what more we can do.

Another good example is to use the zig zag study where the lines span like 100 bars or more and you can see they are curved. This is simply how linear data on a logarithmic scale will look.

Straight lines are still supported with Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> Support Curved Lines on Logarithmic Scale. But we can see some issues with that option disabled. It is new. We need to do some additional work related to it.
