Hi, I want to convert a MQL4 multi-timeframe indicator over to SC that has a panel in the top right of the chart showing the trend of the symbol on other timeframes (based on a moving average crossover). That's a simplified explanation of what the indicator does, the SC overlay study is not complex enough to do the job. I have been informed that to have something similar in SC I would have to have all of the other timeframe charts open to be able to retrieve the data. If so, that seems a really antiquated way of providing chart data. It means having hundreds of charts open in a chartbook. Are there any plans of addressing this issue? In MT4 and TradeStation you can simply pull the data from one open chart. Thanks, James |
