This already exists in SC with charts and is highly useful IMO. You have global settings, like preferred background, but you can also have specific graphics settings per chart. For me, we have the same problem with the study summary (or quoteboards). So maybe the question should actually be : will sierra implement specific graphics settings for study summary in order to have, for ex, one study summary with black background, and another with white background, and the possibility to save and share it.
