I'm trying to connect in both my live account and in simulation to IB. Both appear to connect successfully via ports ending in 7496 and 7497 respectively. But when I place a manual market short order in sim and a limit order in the live account for 1 contract of the June 2018 ES, it shows an order fill on SC but no order nor fill on IB. IB API support said they aren't receiving any order from SC and that IB is working fine. When I try to connect to IB my SC Message Log says "Socket (162) |Socket gracefully closed by remote side." among other messages which are meaningless to me.

Last week, on March 26, per IB's Reference # 203 003, IB agreed to move my account to the East Coast server from the Chicago server I've been connected to until this weekend. That's because I was having a problem running sim AutoTrading programs until afer midnight my time after their server would reset daily. I'd set an alarm to wake up and re-boot the IB platform after midnight since it would crash for a reset right before midnight. Their tech guy said that the server switch wouldn't happen until over this weekend. I'm guessing that could have caused the problem. IB says there would be no change of ports. I've been connecting to IB with no such problem until this evening, Sunday.

I planned to trade live tomorrow morning when the NY market opens if I can get reconnected.
