normally a moving average only needs the number of days to load equal (or exceed by a few) to the length to plot accurately.. my longest moving average on here is the 200sma (brown) and when i only load 400 days my 144ema (orange) is off but my 200sma is still the same. do you know why this is happening? http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1381259682907.png - days to load = 600 http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1381259763907.png - days to load = 400 if you open both links and click back and forth through the tab you can see it shift |
