Post From: Point and Figure Symbol Performance Comparison

I am testing out the Sierra Chart Point and Figure Chart feature and have a question. I have often noticed in other P&F charting programs that it is possible to compare two symbols, such as comparing an individual company against its index to gauge relative performance and relative strength/weakness. For example, comparing XOM against XLE to see if XOM is stronger or weaker than its index. In other charting programs such as Stockcharts.com, one can enter XOM:XLE and see the net P&F result, which is extremely helpful determining if a stock is stronger or weaker relative to its underlying index. This seems to be a common approach with other P&R charting programs for comparisons of a stock to its index. In Sierra Chart, I have tried entering XOM:XLE in the symbol box under chart settings but was unable to obtain a charting result. Is there a way to do this symbol vs index P&F comparison in Sierra Chart? |
