Thanks for your suggested workarounds. I have tried the studies collection but found that problematic with picking up changes to rebuilt dll files. I usually have the chartbook auto load on a restart but I can change that habit. Reloading the chartbook manually on a restart with the studies pre-installed should work as I think that will force a fresh reload of new build dll files; I would usually manually re-apply the studies to a chart to ensure the new build dll files are applied but reloading the chartbook should achieve the same (I think).
