We heard from CQG and as expected, the response did not communicate anything of value.

We do believe there is an abnormal high amount of connection problems to CQG. The log is very clear, that this is some kind of network connectivity problem or a problem on the CQG server side. We would have to suspect it is more a problem on the CQG server-side rather than some other network issue.

From our position we cannot do anything about this. We can only recommend other alternatives.

Consider the CQG FIX connection (can be selected through Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service) and the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed for a better connection:

As a matter of policy going forward, CQG connectivity problems will be responded to with a standardized answer with no further examination.
