This will significantly slow down LDT users, but that shouldn't matter for
important workloads -- the LDT is only used by DOSEMU(2), Wine, and very
old libc implementations.
I just have checked on Debian 9 (4.9.65-3+deb9u2 x86) using wine 2.0.4 and didn't see a significant performance penalty at this moment
