We have had various reports, among users of Windows 10, who have been running into problems with Sierra Chart. A rough estimate of the number of users having a problem seems about 10-12.

These include errors related to creating chart windows, unhandled exceptions, and a dialog box which indicates "encountered improper argument" or something to that effect.

Most Windows 10 users are not having a problem. We have looked into this issue, and have isolated to where we think the problem is occurring and it appears to be occurring at the operating system level which means Windows 10 is at fault.

During this process, version 1669 of Sierra Chart no longer is having these problems for reasons which are not entirely clear.

Any user who has issues like described above, should update to 1669 with "Help >> Download Current Version" and stay on that version until we have more information about the issue. But that should resolve the issue for now.
