This is a hard question to answer. In the Performance section here: Performance There is an explanation how additional threads are used in Sierra Chart. In general more cores and a faster CPU whether by clock or other optimizations within the CPU is going to help. Also, we do not know about that particular AMD CPU but in general Intel CPUs for a long time now have been faster than AMD CPUs. So be sure to do your research. Whether that particular AMD CPU is going to be better, is hard to say. More cores will make the most obvious difference when loading a Chartbook and if using multiple instances in Sierra Chart.
