My suggestion at the link in post#2 was only an attempt to emulate the pic of the original poster. It only measures the # of trades per bar, then applies an MA to it to create a threshold for an alert/color. Admittedly, it's not very sophisticated. There is a close (but not exact) correlation between volume and # of trades, so histograms of each will look similar. |
