I understand the new way entering dates are quicker/better but I liked the older one more because I was able to see the days in the form of weeks grouped by months. For example to go to the latest friday or last month 2n monday it was very easy to do because the picking was more "visual" (than lists). Now I first have to go to MS Window's calendar to see what the exact day is and then I'll type it in at SC... a bit more complicated I think. Someone likes more blue than red so in my case the old way was better... maybe you should do your own date picker component so you can control the all features in it :D But when I know the exact date and I will give it manually the new way to do it IS BETTER.
