We are quite happy with the decision to dispose of the Microsoft date and time controls throughout Sierra Chart. This gives us control of how the text entered is parsed. The new ones are much easier. For example you can just enter 14 for the time and get 14:00:00 or enter 1251 and get 12:51:00. Much easier. No more annoying invalidation beeps and no more struggling just to enter a time because the insertion point is not in the right place or there is a digit which it thinks is not valid for some unknown reason. Numerous formats are also supported for entering a Date. And we are going to enhance that as well. For example you could just enter a year like 2015 and get 2015-01-01.
