I do have a follow up question to this. How can i extract the date from column A? I need to total a value by today's date. i cant' simply ask the formula to check A3 against A$3 because it contains the time. The "Date" function doesn't return the date. I guess I could use the "DAY" function for this purpose, but it would be better if i could work with the date.
