Open Interest is a daily reported number. When switching to a weekly chart, the Open Interest study seems to sum the values for all days of the week, much like the Volume study would do. However, as you know, this is not correct and the value for a weekly Open Interest bar is the final daily value for that week, not the sum. Ditto for monthly, etc.
