yes i've already rebuilt using the backups -- and that is fine except that even they dont rebuild the control bars that were ruined - i had to reprogram those by hand.
re: performance issues -- if you've had several then there are probably more. even i wasn't sure that it might have something to do with SC until i had upgraded 2 or 3 times this past few weeks. i thought my computer was malfunctioning. maybe something to do with the studies i'm using? or the new spreadsheets?
i employ heavy amounts of study/price overlays (9 per book), with one spreadsheet system/alert with 4 entry/exit formulas in each book (minimized to 1000 rows), but only 4-6 books open simultaneously, and drawings copied from charts in some books to other books. I've cut it down to that - before with earlier versions of SC and even heavier settings (default 10000 rows on spreadsheets) I had 10 books open. Earlier versions of SC (1510s to 20 and before i think...) had no problems -- with all books open they were slowed a little on opening and closing and autosave but only by 10-15 seconds. Now it is literally 3-4-5 minutes or longer. I checked to see if it was cpu (core i3) or ram (24gb) that was the bottleneck but it was definitely the cpu maxed out at 100%.
