Thank you. It seems odd that I cannot use only the SC Data without having IB open, but its not an issue I will just open TWS at all times. What you call "definitely the wrong way" seemed pretty clear to me ("To solve these issues, you need to...select Chart >> Chart Settings on the menu and enter the corresponding symbol in the Trade and Current Quote Symbol box.") but thanks for pointing that out I will just leave it as the IB symbol. All charts in my chartbook (14 in total) were changing from intraday to historical each time I opened SC without having TWS open, but with TWS open it does not seem to happen any further. Thanks very much, that clears it up |
