This does not make sense. We cannot reproduce this. Explain the exact steps you are following and what exactly is happening. When we set Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trade and Current Quote Symbol to some symbol for a Historical Daily Chart, that symbol remains even after reopening the Chartbook.
