I have a 1st Instance remaining on a Live Account and Sub Instances which toggle between Sim and Live. Trade Activity Log on 1st Instance always correctly reports live trades from all the Sub Instances. However Global Profit/Loss Management on 1st Instance only picks up correct position for Live Trades if an intraday chart for the symbol traded via a Sub Instance is open on the 1st Instance. I can not find reference to this requirement and my interpretation of the Sierra Manual is that Global P/L Management picks up data from the same source as the Trade Activity Log (which does not require open charts on 1st Instance). There is not a problem as charts can be minimised and I have plenty of spare CPU and memory available. Maybe I have an incorrect setting somewhere that makes the charts necessary on 1st Instance? Please advise. |
