I am trying to have the volume at price study display at the start of the session. For some reason, it only is displaying at from 16:00? Edit* - I believe I found the solution via chatgpt. I selected One Period From Start Time to End Time. This appears to start the profile at 9:30. ----------- How do I make it so if I am viewing it historically that the volume being shown only calculates from the session start time through the bar on the right edge of my screen and not the entire session? The reason it starts at 16:00 is that you are using the Evening Session, and that is the start of the trading day. There are a couple of options for what you want, depending on how you want to handle the Evening Session. 1. Set the "Volume Graph Period Type" to "Trading Day Start Time to End - Reset at Day Session". This will give you a profile starting at the day session, but will change to the evening session when that time comes. 2. Set the "Volume Graph Period Type" to "From Start Time to End" and set the "Start Time" to the time you want the profile to start. This will then give you the one profile starting at that time each day and including the evening session data. Ok. How about the 2nd question? How do I make it so if I am viewing it historically that the volume being shown only calculates from the session start time through the bar on the right edge of my screen and not the entire session? |

When I put these options on, I only see the entire days accumulated volume. I don't see it up to the point on the historical chart when I scroll back. It shows the entire sessions volume regardless of how far back I scroll. With both of these options it still also displays at 16:00 and not 9:30 Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-05-01 20:03:55

Apparently we did not understand what you are wanting. So you only want to see from the start of a session to the last bar displayed in the chart? If so, then there is not an option for this. The closest available would be "Visible Bars". If it is something else, then we need more information. That is what I want. So if I go back to a certain time and want to see what the profile would look like at that moment from 9:30 to that moment, it can't be done? Only with visible bars?

The only way to do what you are wanting would be to run a replay. You would then setup a Volume by Price profile using one of the two methods we gave previously (again, depending on how you want to deal with data from the evening session) and then start the replay at the point at which you want to view the profile.
