Is there a way to have the Volume at Price shade (not color) the bars based on Delta? I would like to the study have gradient shading so that a level that has a total delta of +/- 50 shows as a darker color than a level that has a delta of +/- 1000. Screen shot attached. Or is there another study that will do this? The first image in the one I am looking to replicate while image two is the only way I am able to get it working in SC. thanks |

The way to do this is to use the option for "Color Code Volume Bars Based on Percentage of POC" and set the colors as you want them. Refer to the following and the 2 items below it: Volume By Price Study: Color Code Volume Bars Based on Percentage of POC For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you, I appreciate it. Won't that shade it based on the Total volume then? I was hoping to shade based on the Delta. So a normal profile, that shows the total volume with the bar lengths, and then shaded based on Delta and showing the Delta per tick on the bars. Like this screen shot attached.

For the particular setup you are referring to, where you have the "Volume Bar Calculation Method" set to "Total Volume", you are correct that the coloring will be done based on the total volume. There is not a way to color the bars based on the Delta in this particular scenario.. We thought that you had the "Volume Bar Calculation Method" set to one of the Delta options. In this case, the coloring would be based on the delta. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
