Hello, I have a display defect in the DOM. The backgrounds overlap, overflow on the lower box. I tried everything but nothing worked. I could put the gird on a size of 2 but I find it too thick. Could you tell me what I can do to solve the problem? I attach a capture. Thank you. |

We are not understanding this. What exactly is overlapping?

It's quite clear, I even highlighted some of the defects in purple. Don't you see the color that is supposed to be in a box overflowing onto the one below or above? The image shows it well, if you take the brown of the box where there is 275 in the middle -> it overflows onto the box below, for the blue of the box where there is 72 in the middle -> it also overflows under the dark gray line that delimits the box. For the volume on the far right where there is 2788, the medium gray background also overflows onto the box below. I'm not going to list them all, you'll understand, and sometimes it's on the box above that it overflows. Visually it's really annoying. |

The reason for why are having that is due to the horizontal grid lines. If you turn off the grid lines then the problem goes away. We do see that the grid lines are slightly offset when you set the Horizontal Grid Line Increment to a specific value instead of leaving it at zero. So another solution is to remove that Horizontal Grid Line Increment if you are wanting the grid to be at the tick size of the chart. We are looking into why the above is occurring. The Horizontal Grid is turned on/off through "Chart >> Horizontal Grid" and then selecting the specific regions for which you want to have it on/off. The "Horizontal Grid Line Increment" is on the Scale Settings. Refer to the following: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Opening the Scale Settings Window for the Main Price Graph Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Horizontal Grid Line Increment (Scale Settings) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I did as you said but the problem persists. I am attaching screenshots of the settings. Can you tell me what else I can do? |

We see what you are seeing now, and it may not be related to the original item we thought it was. It looks like there is a slight offset in how the volume profiles in the DOM are drawn as opposed to the grid lines. We do not know when we will be able to look into how these items are lining up. We will do our best. For now, they are just the way they are. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
