windows vs sierrachart timers for low chart update interval

there are many of us who must use a low chart update interval (10-20ms) for our trading. all other factors considered equal (internet speed, cpu, gpu, etc.), is windows or sierrachart timer better for charts set at 10-20ms chart update interval? i'm specifically just talking about chart windows. |

Sierra Chart timers are always going to be better than Windows, but with the latest change in version 2712 (We will release notes about that later today), the behavior with Sierra Chart timers versus Windows-based timers should be the same. And the added benefit is with Sierra Chart timers there is lower resource usage. Anyway, definite decision has been made that we are not going to be using Windows timers any longer.
