When opening multiple chartbooks, I would like to spread the chartbooks across multiple monitors. I think this is currently impossible. I can start a new SC instance, move that instance window to another monitor, and open the other chartbook there. However, from my understanding, this also copies all the data files (that are used by the chartbook) from the main data folder to the instance data folder. This is something I do NOT want. The same situation exists when considering a second SC installation. So, the feature request is that a new main window can be opened (similar to the main window of a SC instance), with one (or maybe more) chartbooks, all within the SC main instance. |

When you create a sub-instance, it doesn't copy the entire data folder, it excludes the SCID files. When you open charts in the new instance, the data will be downloaded again and not copied from the main instance. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-12-04 19:21:46
