Strange behaviour after updating to prerelease 1188 (old spreadsheet). Initially after opening my chartbook (13 charts, spreadsheet), everything seemed fine. After saving, closing and reopening this chartbook, it only contains 1 chart and no more spreadsheet. I can reproduce this issue, by creating a new chartbook, adding a few charts >> save >> close >> reopen => only 1 chart left in chartbook. Any idea what causes this? |

We are removing version 1188. We apologize on this. There has been a lot of low-level work with file I/O. There are back up Chartbooks available, so you did not lose anything. Follow the instructions here to use them: Chartbooks (Workspaces): Accessing a Backup Chartbook File Version 1188 is being locked out. You will need to update Sierra Chart with Help >> Download Current Version to go back to 1187. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. This morning 8 AM NYC time, I was prompted to download version 1187. My saved charts will not open. I followed the instructions to recover backed up saved charts, but i get this error message "Historical data request is rejected due to an empty symbol" Please advise how to recover backed up charts and correct "empty symbol issue"

Had same issues opening charts with 1188. I did have back up charts o DVD disc and in my emails. One thing I learned best to duplicate. Good learning experience everything okay now with 1187. |
