Please see this 5 second clip to observe the flashing artifact on the left side of the chart. https://youtube.com/shorts/L5686tTQKec

It comes and goes and is very distracting

I have attached my study settings

We really do not know. Please attach that chart to this thread for us to take a look and see if we can reproduce it. Make sure you let us know the exact setup we need in order to replicate what you are seeing. Follow these instructions to get us a chart:

One of the issues that needs to be looked into is why are you missing data to the left side of the screen? The pricing data at that point is flat and there is no market depth data showing. It looks like this is why you are seeing what you are.

I also noticed that.

The missing data on the left side was previously there, but it gradually disappears as the data reaches the left hand edge.

Please see image 1. You can see the depth data starts when I connected to my data feed. Then in image 2, I resize the chart window so that the depth data is against the eft hand edge of teh window, and now we see the depth data start to disappear.

The flashing artifacts are not common, perhaps only a few times in a session.

What you show in Image 2 is normal. That is just due to how we draw the data. What is happening is if the values have not changed then the drawing is drawn forward, but if the initial value is off the screen, then you will see the blanks like you are seeing at some levels.

But what was odd in your video was that there was data missing over the entire area on the left, not just a few missing blocks. We are pretty sure this is why you are seeing the flashing, as it is trying to update that area, so you see some of the drawings coming in and out, but we are trying to understand the reason why you would have that occur in the first place.

Is there something in particular that occurs that causes that entire left side to be blank? Do you happen to notice a particular pattern that causes it?
