Hi SC, I'm wanting to know the specifics of SC sending orders to my broker, IBKR, for whether SC or Das trader will send orders to IBKR faster? I can then know whether I need a Das trader subscription in addition to SC, or only SC subscription - specifically whether I use SC for market data, charting, & sending orders to IBKR, or whether I use SC for market data & charting, & Das trader for sending orders to IBKR) Please can you also advise on comfortably minimum & preferred hardware specs to have SC on 12 monitors, & 24 - 36 charts (2-3 charts per monitor) running at any one time with fast update speeds of 10ms? & whether I could even access update speeds of 10ms for that many monitors & charts with any hardware specs? Thanks for your help :) |

I forgot to say, for sending stock orders (US stocks), not option or future orders.

We can not answer these questions as we do not know. With regards to speed of orders, you would need to ask Interactive Brokers. Sierra Chart connectivity with Interactive Brokers is through their Trader Workstation software running on the same computer. So the time from Sierra Chart sending an order and then it being handled by Interactive Brokers is going to be negligible, as it is on the same computer.
