Chat ID setting per Alert

Is there a way to have a different Chat ID set for each Alert number?
Right now changing the Chat Identifier or Chat Name for Alerts setting results in a change for all Alerts.

I would like the ability to have certain alerts to trigger in certain Chats. Or better still, any number of chats I specify.

Thanks

There is only a single Chat Identifier for all alerts.

We have set this as a Feature Request. Note that we can not say when we can get to any particular request.

I'm wondering if this has been implemented? For me right now, on General Settings > Alerts, the "Chat Identifier or Chat name for Alerts" is the same for each alert number. Thanks.

Yes of course this was added back in 2024.

Set this to what you require for each alert number:
Global Settings >> General Settings >> Alerts >> Chat Identifier for Alert (for Alert #) : 0

By default it should be 0.

When I change the Chat Identifier for Alert value, every defined alert in my list is changed to this value. So The Chat Identifier seems to not be able to be unique per alert number.

We do not see this behavior. Make sure you are not changing the global setting:

Global Settings >> General Settings >> Alerts >> Notification >> Chat Identifier or Chat Name for Alerts : {}

OK I see now. Since both settings are under the "Global settings" tab, it wasn't clear to me which was the actual global setting.
Additionally, I originally followed the instructions under this page Chat and Communications Platform
to set up my mobile notifications. Step 13 under "Using Chat for Remote Alert Notifications" instructs you to change the Chat ID Under the "Notification" section. After reading both of your responses, I was able to gather that the Chat identifier in the "Notification" section is the global setting and the "Chat Identifier for Alert" in the "Alert Settings" section was the specific setting. I was changing the value under the "Notification" section per the documentation. Maybe an extra step on the documentation would clear this up.

Thanks, I was able to get it working now
