Can only enter 2 digits in RGB Color input fields

Not sure when this started, but I am unable to enter 3 digit RGB colors in any graphics settings window, either by typing or copy/paste. Has anyone seen this before? v2609 for reference.

Can you please get us a screenshot of what you are seeing, as the "color picker" window where you can set the RGB colors by number is a standard windows window and not one of our own. We are not seeing an issue with this, so we are wondering if it is something else.

hard to tell from the image, but previously populated 3 digit numbers are fine, but can't be edited as only 2 digits are selectable.

As hyp0luxa stated, there's not much to show. It is not possible anymore to enter 3 digits. Very weird. A picture wouldn't help. It occurs, when I want to change a color in the subgraph of a study. |

I tested what you said in a subgraph of a study, and I can change the RGB color with 3 digits without any problem. I typed 111 and 222 in RGB, and it worked (see screenshot). I also tried with previously populated with only 2 digits as you said, and it worked as well to modify it to 3 digits. Thanks.

Ok, fine. But the question wasn't whether it works on your machine, but why it doesn't work on mine. And I'm aware of the fact, that this is a standard Windows window and you can't know, why it's not running on my PC. However, it is still annoying.

Don't you just have to love Windows? In order to solve a problem in 2025, that no one has a f****n clue about, you ahve to use a forum post from 2011. So this problem has existed for 14 years already! Thank you, Windows. By the way, the solution doesn’t work for me. The file I need to edit doesn’t exist on my system. |
