Hello, I have a problem with setting up micro contracts for currencies. I wanted to switch from simulation mode to real account, but for now I have incorrect data in the Trade Activity Log. I set the symbol 6B on the chart and the trading symbol M6B. However, the Entry and Exit prices in the Log are incorrect. As a result, P/L is also incorrectly calculated. The same error occurs on the M6E. However, for MCL, MGC and MYM the calculations are correct. Regards Piotr Olearnik |

Hello, thank you for the quick reply. I followed the procedure explained in the link and it doesn't work. After applying the settings, when I buy or sell, the order is executed, but at the same time the position is automatically closed immediately. In Trade Activity Log, I see that the entry order is at the correct price (i.e. 1.0845) while the automatic order is still at the wrong price (i.e. 10844). I also have the opposite example: incorrect entry price and correct exit price. Both situations occurred with a Buy order. Should I set anything else? |

We notice you have Trade Simulation Mode enabled. There are going to be problems, during a replay or back test using a Trade symbol. During a replay or back test, remove the Trade and Current Quote Symbol from Chart >> Chart Settings. You will not have problems with live trading. OK thank you for the information. However, I like to have everything thoroughly tested. Therefore, I will not risk switching to live trading without verifying it in a simulation mode. Regards |
