Indside of Quote Spreadsheet, why does Gold Daily Change only say 2.1 when it has actually been 60.00? Previous Close is not yesterdays close either but volume figure seems to be correct for the day?

Because gold markets closing settlement price is 1:30 EST and that's showing the price since today's close. https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/metals/precious/gold.contractSpecs.html Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-10-14 01:53:57

Ok, if that is the case, why doesn't volume figure reset than like the price does?

Volume resets at close of the day after maintenance period. Settlement price usually isn't the closing price. FYI not unique to GC applies to all futures products. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-10-14 17:44:43
