Sierra Chart is working fine on my desktop computer, both for live and simulated trading. (I do both, using simulated to test new strategies.) But orders entered on my laptop are not being filled, at least on simulated trading. (I don't want to place a "test" live order as an experiment.) Instead of the usual display after an order is filled, I get the display in the attached screenshot, with the word "[Held]." The price does not change as the chart price changes, either on the chart or in the trade window. (The "use attached orders" box is checked.) And I can also "grab" the order line and move it up and down, which I should not be able to do for a filled order. I've checked everything, including whether the I am logged into my data service. As far as I can see, all settings are identical to the settings on the Sierra Charts on my desktop, so it is a mystery why Sierra Charts is not functioning correctly on my laptop. |
