Good morning. Is there a way to temporarily "freeze" the DOM price ladder so I can place a limit order during a fast-moving market? I know there's a setting the permanently freezes the DOM, but then fast-moving prices disappear from the visible range. The SC DOM is the only platform I've ever used that does not seem to have this critical feature. Thank you! |

If you right-click on the Scale on the right and select Scale Range: User Defined with Auto-Set then the scale will stay locked at the prices that are showing at that time. Refer to the following: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Using Fixed Values for Top and Bottom of Scale Range You can also setup a Control Bar button and/or Keyboard Shortcut to activate this mode. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
