Hi, I have set up an alert and the price for which an alert first comes true is important for my purposes. Is there a way of automatically marking on the chart the first price in which an alert becomes true? Colour by alert condition will alert me to the presence within a bar but not the price at which the alert first occurred. Thanks you for your advice, |

No, you can only use this study to color the entire bar: Color Bar Based on Alert Condition Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I think Ben can use a combination of "Dash" in Draw Style and "Alert Only Once" checked. This should draw a hyphen on the body of the bar when the first alert condition is triggered. You might have to use "Reset Alert Condition on new bar" as well. (disclaimer: I could be wrong so please try it out)
