Have not changed these settings, Position/Trades/ChartTradeStats tabs Long/Profit set to Green, and Short/Loss set to Red. However Losses in Daily P/L with a '-' number are shown in green. Changing the setting for Profits to Red, seems to change the Losses to red. Not sure if the settings are inverted. Could there be a way only show those charts in this view that have fills for the day/or fills loaded in the Trades tab? |

Keep in mind the coloring is either by Profit/Loss or by Long/Short. Check the following setting to see which way you have it defined: Global Trade Settings Windows: Coloring Of Position Line Based On (Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> General >> Chart Position Line) Could there be a way only show those charts in this view that have fills for the day/or fills loaded in the Trades tab?

Global Trade Settings Windows: Coloring Of Position Line Based On (Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> General >> Chart Position Line) Tried both settings, it's set to Profit/Loss. Graphics Losses are set to Red. Chart Stats still showing Losses in Green. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-01-10 21:05:49

Trades tab has dates filter, set to only today. Period Stats, and Acc Stats tabs then use this filter's setting. Chart Stats tab does not update based on this. Could you make a way to not show these symbols in Chart Stats that have 0 in Total Fills (Daily), like how Period Stats and AccStats do? An efficient clean view of PnL across positions/for day without empty lines in view. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-01-10 21:20:40

With respect to the colors - this simply is not making sense, as it is working properly for us. The one thing to keep in mind is that the color will not change immediately - you need to refresh the window. For example, if you have the Chart Statistics page open and you change the color for the "Position/Trades/ChartTradeStats tabs Long/Profit", then you need to change off the Chart Statistics page and go back to see the updated color.

Global Trade Settings Windows: Coloring Of Position Line Based On (Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> General >> Chart Position Line) There used to be a way to keep these two settings separate, Positions were colored by Long and Short even on Chart Stats Tab, and Profits and Losses were still colored independently by PnL. Can this be separated again? If not, which version was this changed in? We would like to go back to how this worked previously. |

In the 5 years that I have been working at Sierra Chart, there has not been an option in which you could have both settings at the same time. Therefore, there is not an option to go back to a previous version that had this.

At one time we remember this is how it worked and was better. Is there no way to add one option to separate these? This seems simple and useful, differentiate visuals on longs vs losses.

We have to see what color settings are used for the Trade Statistics for Charts tab. And we probably could add a chart setting to prevent a chart from being listed on the Trade Statistics for Charts tab. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. In the next release there is going to be a new setting in Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading to either allow or disallow, a chart from being included in the Trade Statistics for Charts tab of the Trade Activity Log. And now there are new color settings dedicated in Graphics Settings specifically for the Trade Statistics Charts tab for long/short profit/loss colors. To clarify, will the new settings allow: -Independent coloring for Positions as Long vs Short, and P/L as Profit vs Loss? -Charts excluded from Trade Stats based on 0 in Total Fills (Daily), not excluded permanently until setting changed? |

No and this will not change: -Independent coloring for Positions as Long vs Short, and P/L as Profit vs Loss? The setting to include a chart in the Trade Statistics for Charts tab, causes it to be included or not. It is not based on any value. This is all that we can offer.
